It was a heart warming Christmas story。 I wasn’t particularly in love with the description of the “things” or the “bad guy” but it was a sweet story of growing up， things changing， and Christmas miracles。

4。5 étoiles j’ai bien bien aimé！ ce n’est pas du tout Harry Potter ni cet univers qu’on connaît tous si bien。 c’est différent et c’est un autre monde complètement， mais l’histoire est belle et bien racontée et je me suis amusée à m’imaginer chacun des endroits visités par Jack。 ce roman， il est à lire en plein hiver ou comme maintenant — à la fin de l’automne， parce qu’il est magique et empli d’espoir et de beauté。

This book， in my opinion， may be even better than the Harry Potter series in terms of plot development and how meaningful the story turns out to be。 The pace of the plot is also more consistent and is not draggy。 The characters leave a lasting impression （one of them especially） on you as you ruminate on the earlier events that led to the ending。 Best book by Rowling so far I guess？
